Isaac is always looking for jobs to earn money. We are always looking for jobs to pawn off on our children. Yesterday, Nate let Isaac mow the lawn to earn money. Isaac did a really good job. He earned his $1.
BTW: most jobs around our house are in the 25 -50 cents range, so a $1 job is a big job! We got to start somewhere!
Sounds good. My kids get a quarter a week for doing ALL their chores.
ReplyDeletePaying for chores seems to be a place where a lot of disagreements come into play.
Is that a self propelled mower?
Very nice! I need to hire Henry more often.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is self-propelled, but you have to push it some to keep it going when the grass is thick.
ReplyDeleteIsaac asked if he could mow the lawn every Saturday for $1.
i am a BIG fan of child labor.
ReplyDeleteHey I noticed the ear protection ... what about safety glasses and a hard hat?
ReplyDeleteWe work with "beads" right now, not ready for the real stuff. My dad used a "ledger", which today would just be a nice excel spreedsheet! He didnt' like it too much when I had saved over $100! Love your blog
