We didn't get quite so many this year. It has been too hot and not enough rain. And the kids got hot (90 degrees at 10AM). So we called it good with about 8 pounds and bought some homemade ice cream and popsicles to eat on the way home.

Blackberry picking
It's blackberry picking time again. Good thing too: we are out of berries. And with all this 100 degree weather we're having we are looking forward to some homemade berry ice cream.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to leave it long and just let it grow (both boys actually). But Isaac wants a mohawk. So next week he'll get a haircut. Toby's will probably just get a trim.

What we wouldn't give for some heat. It is so cold here but I guess I would be wanting cool if I were there. Also the blackberries look great.
