Down to the wire

It's 5:05 am.
No. I am not just getting up.
I am just going to bed.
I don't know why I wait until the last moment to finish projects. But I do.
Hazel only requested two things for Christmas this year: candy necklaces, and a pink princess dress. I included a princess hat for good measure. Here they are:

I've had the fabrics for a month. But I just finished. At least I did finish.
Now for my long winter's nap...yeah, right.

Anyone else a Christmas procrastinator?

  1. This year I was and I didn't like it. Kirsten was my hardest to buy for and then to make it worse, it hasn't come in the mail yet so yesterday we had to go out and get a backup.

  3. i am an expert at procrastinating (not just around christmas time) - i am just barely getting my cards in the mail today and I am still working on one homemade gift for my mom and one for one of my best friends.

the late-nighter will be worth it though - the dress is fab and I am sure hazel will treasure it!

merry christmas to you and your family!

  5. You're a sweet Mom - she'll LOVE it. My mom used to do that for us - homemade everything. You can always feel the love that goes into something hand-made. You rock.

BTW - the serger is coming! We need to make a weekly schedule and list of projects. LOL.
