Hazel: Candy necklaces. (She's been requesting these for 3 months; she really wants them.)
Nate: What else?
Hazel: My own fingernail polish.
Nate: What color?
Hazel: Pink.
A couple minutes pass and the conversation moves on.
Hazel: Oh, besides those other things, I want my own car.

ReplyDeleteNate just wants a car that a) he actually fits into (A ford escort is a bit small) B) has a CD player and a power outlet that actually works and c) one that doesn't have the rear door dented from an accident 5 years ago.
ReplyDeleteAt this rate, we'll just save the 'scort for Toby, only 2 1/2 years to go. By then it might break 200,000 miles.
