The score is

Nate: 140.35
Betsy: 129.28

I know, we don't seem to be getting anywhere fast on this competition. But I am catching up...I put in the last 29.28 miles in the last 10 days. I will pass Nate soon and will get my camera! Besides only 6 weeks left to train for the Lake Tahoe Half Marathon. It is definitely crunch time. (Is it possible to cram for a half marathon? I guess I'll find out soon!)

  4. That is quite the camera. Nice bargain price for the camera set as well.

  8. Betsy, I am Bonny's cousin and I live in Reno. I am running the 10K on Sept 30th up at Tahoe. I have been training all summer. I am excited. It should be fun.

Where are you staying when you get here?

  9. I am not sure yet where we are staying. My sister Maddy is coming and my brother Karl. We are flying into Sacramento. Maybe we can get together though. I am very excited about this.

  10. Fun! I think a half-marathon is a perfect distance. Well, actually, I'm a bigger fan of 10 miles. But half-marathon sounds better, despite the fact that those extra few miles at the end are really hard. I miss running--I'm looking forward to getting back into it. I'm just too tired and impatient now, so I swim instead.

    Good luck!!
