I found this site today. Click play to watch the movie. It was an interesting view on the global economy and our rate of consumption. I do not agree with everything she says. But it is food for thought.
I watched the video (in three different segments so it would keep my attention.) There were parts that I didn't agree with either but it mentioned a lot of things that I can see she is making some sense. It did make me think though. (It was one of the topics when I was planting trees with Jake. Not being able to remember everything he came in at dinner and watched it.)
That and it's just one little part in a computer they change so you have to buy a whole new one. I don't buy that, you being the computer man Nate, is it correct?
The CPU changes sockets shape every couple years. Making it so you cannot put a newer CPU in an olde computer. Like everything in her presentation she is glossing over alot of the story. New computers also have newer interfaces for every other component of the computer SATA,USB,PCI Express, etc.
