One of our yearly traditions is to go to 3 or 4 triple-A league games. So yesterday we went to our first Round Rock Express games of the season. It was a fairly boring game most of the time. By the 6th inning we were down 6-1. But in the bottom of the 9th, the Express was still down 6-4, with 2 outs, 2 men on base and 2 strikes. Nearly everyone in the stands had already gone home. But the last batter hit a homerun! And the team won dramatically 7-6. It was a fun game.
Aspen got her picture on the scoreboard while she was dancing the Twist!
Hazel had her first taste of cotton candy.
Going to minor league baseball is one of my favorite family traditions.
I love cotton candy......of course it's all sugar though.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun game. And an exciting last inning!
We go to at least one minor league baseball games a year - usually the July 4th game. And it's crowded and fun!!! We buy lawn seats and bring in a picnic - it's lots of fun!
