Isaac's design. I think the short wheel base is going to slow it down, but this is definitely the smallest pinewood derby car I have ever seen. Yes, the car weighs 5 ounces--which really feels odd when you pick it up.
Last place, but he couldn't have cared one whit. The car was tuned, and the wheels were fast, but because of the short wheelbase, when it got going fast it would jitter on the track which slowed it down a bit--exactly like I expected.
However, every time his car would race down the track, he would grab it and say "AWESOME!" and run back to the start.
How did it do in the races?

ReplyDeleteJeremy: That's great. My car came in last place too, but I just ran outside and cried.
ReplyDeleteIt's not all about winning anyway.
ReplyDeleteKind of looks like a little VW bug - the new kind they have now as opposed to the bugs of my youth.
Good job!
