Sister, Sister

I found this very cute fabric in the $2 a yard bin and made Aspen and Hazel matching skirts. Aspen was very excited. (She wants to match with Hazel everyday.) I really liked it too and they were a breeze to make - only 15 minutes each!

  1. You're a seamtress Betsy. It would take me fifteen minutes just to make sure I laid the fabric right before I even picked up a pair of scissors. I'm working up the nerve to make Anna a dress...with sleeves. The skirts look great!

  2. The more you sew, the easier it gets. SOmetimes it helps to just have someone to ask questions when you get stuck. Some things are easier to understand when someone shows you rather than just reading the instructions. Just keep practicing! Good luck!

  3. They are both so cute. It reminds me of the years that you and Erika wore matching or at least matching fabric, clothes. Although you and Erika were not as keen as Aspen seems to be to be in matching outfits. You are a great MOM and they both look adorable.

  4. yes betsy you certainly are a good seamstress. and i LOVE matching outfits. In fact when Phoebe was here we kept showing up in the morning wearing the same or same color t-shirts. we didn't even plan it.

  5. I'm jealous. I wish I had girls to sew skirts for.
