We love to go to our local basball team (The Round Rock Express) games. So last Friday was our first game of the season. We usually sit near first base and have a good time. There were a lot of foul balls this game. Nate blocked a wicked curving foul ball with his arm (it would have hit his face). We have the ball, and Nate has a monster swollen bruise to show for it.
Other excitement at the game was the stadium in left field (The Homerun Porch) caught on fire in the middle of the game. (You can see the flames under the money box sign.) It was successfully evacuated and the fire put out. But since our team really didn't play well, we lost 6-2, we still had our share of excitement.
