It seems that kids love tiny sized things. We made a special trip to Target to get a tea set and buy tiny snacks. Then we came home and had a tea party lunch. Even the big kids wanted in. (It is kind of funny to watch a ten-year-old boy eating off a pink polka-dotted flower shaped plate.) Everyone had fun and there have been more requests for tea parties since.
Smallness does seem to appeal to something in our senses. Not sure what it is - but when people collect stuff, it's usually not large stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love tiny things too...hmmmm if I made Emma's food smaller maybe she would eat more of it? :) Worth a try- mini everything from now on! ha ha
