This shot brings back memories of Sunday afternoons - for some reason our kids liked to build hideaways on Sunday. It was a pretty quiet activity - and they enjoyed it even on hot days - we did not - and still don't actually - have a/c.
But we are alive to tell the story - and this is not Texas!!
building indoor forts is always good fun - we have been doing that a lot lately here too because of the unbearable heat!

henry and the girls built a fort last night and tried to sleep in it - but it was too hot.
