Aspen has been at camp all week. It always amazes me how much difference one person gone can make. Anyway, this is my new favorite picture of Aspen. Can't wait to see her tomorrow.
*EDA: I can't decide which version I like better. What's your vote?
I'm having fun reading all your summer updates. I hope you're recovering well from your surgery -- loved the facial x-ray photo. Amazing stuff you've got going on in there. I'll bet airport security expects metal knees and hips but doesn't see metal faces as often!
I'm with you -- when one child is gone it makes a huge difference! I shed a few tears each night this week while Marty was gone -- thinking of him carting his enormous backpack in the middle of the wilderness. I just missed him.

Black and white is more dramatic; but then the color is more real.
ReplyDeleteMaybe have both be your faves!
One person gone in any setting usually changes the whole dynamic - as a teacher, I can testify to that!
It's good to miss someone though - helps you appreciate them a new way.
I vote for the black and white one. so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI like the color version. I am so glad we were matched up.
ReplyDeleteI like the black and white one, but she is beautiful either way.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought the black and white but the coloring is so pretty and so I vote for the color version.
