Nate's workout regimen

You look sweet...

Hazel loves to go for bike rides. She rides in the trailer behind my bike. I get a really good workout pulling her and racing Toby at the same time. (I only beat Toby because my bike has 21 gears, Toby's only has 6. Otherwise, I'm sure he would be faster.) Hazel also has this great helmet that included 3 different helmet covers. There is also a bee and a ladybug!

Sweet Berry Farms

We went to SweetBerry Farms again...this time in Marble Falls. It was a perfect day and Hazel and I picked another 7 pounds of berries. We ate at least 2 pounds in the field and on the way home! They are so sweet. Hazel had pink hands for the day.

There were horses, donkeys, chickens, and goats to feed at the farm. Hazel wasn't to sure of them at first. But figured out pretty fast that it was fun to feed them.

This was the reward for all our hard work!! It was delicious.

It's that time again.

Strawberry Fields Forever

We've been trying to go to Sweetberry Farms to pick strawberries for the last couple weeks. We went today, even though it was 50 degrees and very, very windy. Hazel didn't last long and eventually went back to the car with Isaac to warm up.

We came home with 40 pounds of strawberries!

On the menu for the next couple days: strawberry jam on homemade bread, strawberry ice cream, strawberry torte, strawberries on waffles, strawberry fruit salad, strawberry smoothies, strawberry shakes, strawberry sorbet, strawberries over angel food cake, and just plain, very, very delicious, fresh, ripe, just-picked strawberries!!
