Chocolate!!

My kids have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the past month. So today we are going to see the new movie. They are very excited. They liked the book so much that they are now reading Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. I like that they are making movies from all these great books. It motivates my children to read the book first so that they can see the movie. Next on the list is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Chronicles of Narnia.

Hazel's smiling! 

Hazel is finally starting to smile a lot.

Aspen relaxin at the pool. It's very hot here. 

We will miss the Poggemanns. 

The Poggemann's stayed with us last weekend. The kids had fun on the slip and slide. I took the video on my camera. I hope this works.

Aspen at the divisional meet. 

Aspen's swimming has improved since joining the swim team 

Aspen participated in her swim league's divisional meet. She placed in the 25 yard backstroke and the 100 yard medley relay. 

The kids kept busy with ground flowers and sparklers. I just had to make sure no one lit their fireworks next to Nate and Felix's arsenal or under the gas tanks of the nearby parked cars. The babies were in the house. IT was very loud.
