I scream, you scream, we all scream
For Ice cream!!! Nate usually picks a cooking genre and tries it out for a year. This year he has really gotten excited about making ice cream. We've tried lots of different flavors -- Blackberry chocolate chunk, rocky road, peach, chocolate with reece's peanut butter cups (Very, very good) raspberry sorbet and margarita sorbet. Today's flavor is mango. THe kids love helping and with Nate's new kitchenaid ice cream maker, it doesn't take very long to do. Of course, with all this delicious ice cream in the freezer it is hard to resist. It isn't good for the waistline, but good to eat anyway.

ReplyDeleteI have that cookbook - and we've even made ice cream - but in my Weight Watchers mode, I don't encourage it these days!
