Jake and Amy's

This is the last installment of the vacation.....I promise.
We went from Yellowstone to stay with Jake and Amy in Idaho Falls. We were so glad to be there.
The boys especially looked forward to four wheeling,
and burning things,
and everyone enjoyed playing in the dirt and mud.

There was lots of water every day.

This is McKay. I thought she was very cute with the parasol.

Cruz is just so adorable!

Jake made the kids a slip and slide out of visqueen (sp?). (Those pics are on Amy's cool water proof camera.)

Everyone loved playing with the kittens. They are very cute!
I was just glad to have a little space. Spending 24 hours a day for 7 days in the same small space (hotel room and car) with my kids is a bit exhausting. I love my kids, but I also like being able to be by myself for a little bit each day. It makes me love them more.

I appreciated Amy putting up with us for a week. She also was a life saver when Hazel got sick. (This should have been a sign for me: she fell asleep in my arms outside while everyone was running around in the water.)I had been sick the night before and not slept at all. Then Hazel didn't sleep the next night. The third night I think I was just delirious. So Amy stayed up with Hazel for a few hours so I could get some sleep. That's a true friend there.

We all loved being out in the country with jake and amy. Hazel did not want to go home, none the the kids did. I was missing Nate. So we headed home. Thanks Jake and Amy!

  1. I miss you guys! I keep thinking I am just going to take off and come see you but I have a business I'm "trying" to run (sans Jake). I keep hoping for August though.

I didn't have pics of the slip and slide. That was the day I ran to get groceries. : ( I do have the sprinkler pics though with the camera.

Can you email me the last picture. I can't open it to save it. Thanks!
