Isaac is nearly done with his Bear badge in Cub scouts. The last thing to do is build a tool box. Last weekend, Nate helped him make this tool box. This was no ordinary toolbox. He used 7 major power tools to construct it. Just needs staining. We'll post the finished product soon. But really, it was just an excuse to wield all that power!
(In case you are wondering, that's a biscuit joiner. No nails were used in this project.)
your post title reminds me of one of our family sayings that gets passed around,.. only the picture that would accompany the caption is quite different from this power tools depiction. haha.
ReplyDeleteWhen seth was younger he used to slip into mom's shoes and hobble around the house,... he would say "I have the power,..I have the power" apparently women have the power because they wear girls shoes,....it's been a bit of a family joke for a long time so it's funny that your title reminds me of it and yet the picture is so far off from what it reminds me of. haha. thanks for the flashback.
Sounds like it was an excuse to play also. : ) I'm excited to see the finished product. Knowing Nate and Isaac, it's probably something extravagant!
