California smells so pretty!

It really does! If was one of the first things I noticed when we got to California. Between the cherry blossoms and the orange blossoms and everything else that was blooming, I was in fragrance heaven. (Citrus is one of my favorite scents.)While in LA we visited Great Grandma Mary. (The grandma with all the orange trees.) And of course we had to make some orange juice while we were there. So the kids picked a bagful of oranges. Then we washed them, and squeezed them.

And enjoyed our juice. Nothing quite like freshly squeezed OJ. As a kid I remember eating 10 or 20 oranges a day, plus drinking fresh OJ every chance I could whenever I visited.

  1. Fresh squeezed o.j. is a blessing I sometimes take for granted. We can make some great lemonade too.

  2. We always make OJ when we go. Dale and I both love it. I am glad that you had a great time. I miss California.
