O Taunembaum, Second Verse

At Vickie's request I am posting pics of our tree from outside and a better inside shot. Tomorrow we'll finish the rest of the decorating. Check back again for the finished product!

  1. Very nice! How many lights did you have to use and who did them? That's a big job, but it turned out great! Too bad the golfers won't be able to enjoy the view when it is the prettiest.

  5. Well there are 1800 lights. And I did them all. It took 2 1/2 hours to do and I missed dinner. But it was worth it. I actually didn't finish. There is a spot on the back of the tree that I didn't finish. I was too tired and I would have had to find more lights. So we turned that to the wall and faked it. It was so arduous putting them on I told Nate I didn't want to take them off. He said that he had $50 that I would. (he's right). It is sad that it won't last till next year. We have our fake tree upstairs. Luckily that one is prelit. Just have to unbend all the branches, a very scratchy job. But the effect is nice.
